During my trip to Ghana I had the chance to visit the place my father was born. You always learn something when you go back to the place someone began. We lost him this year, but going back I was reminded oh how never gone anyone ever is.
For a while when taking portraits I was frustrated by how my reflection was so clear in the eyes of the family I was capturing. In Hiawu Besease though I didn’t mind it.
